This Privacy Policy describes how Mewly ("we", "us", "our", or the "app") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. By installing or using Mewly you agree to the practices described below.
Mewly is a facial-wellness habit-coaching app. Our core design principle is that your photos and any face-related data stay on your device. We do not run server-side face recognition, we do not sell or share biometric data, and we do not use your face data for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models.

Mewly uses Apple's on-device Vision Framework (VNDetectFaceLandmarksRequest) to detect facial landmarks — the geometric positions of points along the jawline, eyes, lips, and nose — from photos you take inside the app. These landmarks are used only to compute your wellness scores and personalize your routine.
Photos and the derived score values are stored only in the app's local container on your iPhone. Face data is never uploaded, transmitted, sold, or shared with any third party. Our backend stores only your anonymous quiz answers and aggregate session counts — never images or landmark coordinates.
